Well, since my last entry I've been doing a whole lot of exploring in the 'Pot Healer's Adventure.' It's been fun, but I still haven't solved the mystery of the island.
The scenery is beautiful and is still worth the trip.

I have been spending the past few weeks exploring the Pot Healer's Adventure.
If you like something a bit more sedate than the role playing combat games, this is the one to go for.
It is very MYST like in its structure and has a whole bunch of hidden areas to explore.

During my travels around the grid these past few months, I came accross a new community by the name of Extropia.
One of my favorite topics is Gynoids. And since in 2Life I am a Cyborg, I am always looking for communities that are Cyborg friendly and encourage roleplay in that area. I happened to find a blog entitled: "Gynoids Do Dream: The Artificial Journal of Galeta Gynoid." I am not sure what Galeta does in RL but her writing interested me.
The entry I happened to see dealt with a new sim G…

I saw the movie Stargate on one of the cable channels a couple of weeks ago. This prompted me to investigate the Stargates in Second Life. I visited and snapped photos of two this afternoon. I've posted the snaps and the SLURL for their location in the description. At present the Cleary network identifies 322 gates located all over the grid, and I think I would like to visit as many as I can.

I'm taking an in-world photography class, and the assignment for Monday was to photograph a landscape. I didn't want a location that has been photographed a million times. Flipping through some of my Flickr groups, I came across a fishing village at
Hosoi Ichiba on the Virgin Islands sim, and I took off hoping for the best.
After perusing the market area and watching the tai chi group, I went looking for the fishing boats. What a beautiful build!…

Recently Gametap announced that it would discontinue Myst Online: Uru Live from its game catalogue citing that it was a business decision. I think that enough has been said about that event in other venues far better able to discuss that than I can here, so I'll lea…

I wanted to note that I happened to find Sean's Travel Guide at Borders, so I bought it.
In my opinion, very nicely done. Listed inside are a hundred or so sites he has visited with descriptions, pictures and SURLs.
My first visit was, of course, to Landmark Island. I explored; found the picnic area, the travel cube, and an interesting rock on the shoreline. I plan to return soon with Nerys for a little quiet time up on the hill.
Great job Sean.

Just discovered this site.
My primary interest in 2Life is to explore and view the sites, and sights. This may be exploring The Warrens in Nexus Prime or watching people dance and have fun at The Shelter.
I would like to use this as a forum for my adventures, and a place to post pictures of both the interesting and mundane.

I have just taken tonights tour, the much requested Adults Only tour.
I have taken all the tours Sean has run since he began, bar maybe one. And I didn't want to miss tonight's tour! And to be honest, I didn't want to miss it because I really needed the 'safety in numbers' feeling that going on a tour would provide. I hadn't previously visited two of the three destinations out of pure fear of what I might find there! One of them CARP (Capture and Roleplay) had me intrigued but scared stupid to t…

We live in a unit (apartment) in the capital of Australia, Canberra. Our block was believed to have a no pets policy.
When my spouse and I decided we wanted a Burmese kitten, we challenged the policy. It went to a vote of owners and we won. Yesterday we took possession of Max, a nine week old lilac Burmese kitten. Two weeks time, we get Phoebe, his sister after my dear spouse decided two were better than one.
After two years without cats, to have a kitten on my lap is wondro… Continue

I can't say that I have ever been really enamored with technology. True, i have always had the best technology money can buy, but more to say I had it, than because I knew how to use it. I have had a computer for 7 years. Not long, I know, but of those 7 years, 6 and a half of them were spent only receiving emails, surfing the web, storing and editing photos and of course online shopping!
Six months ago, I entered Second Life. I saw a doco about it and thought, let's take a look. Fortu…
